Pay Transparency

Alasconnect will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by Alasconnect, or (c) consistent with a contractor’s legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c)

Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

In operating the Services, Alasconnect, LLC (hereinafter “Alasconnect, LLC,” “Company,” “our,” or “we) may act as a “services provider” under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DCMA”) and offer services as an online provider of materials and links to third-party websites. As a result, third-party materials that are not owned or controlled by Alasconnect, LLC may be transmitted, stored, accessed, or otherwise made available using the Services.

Alasconnect, LLC is committed to complying with U.S. copyright laws, and we require all Alasconnect, LLC customers using our service to comply with them, too. Our Customers may not store any material or content or access, share, or distribute any material or content using Alasconnect, LLC internet services in any manner that constitutes an infringement of third-party copyright rights.

Alasconnect, LLC has no obligation to investigate possible copyright infringements with respect to materials transmitted by Customer or any other users of the Services. However, Alasconnect, LLC will process valid notifications of claimed infringement under the DMCA, and continued receipt of infringement notifications for Customer’s account will be used as a factor in determining whether Customer is a repeat infringer. In addition, Alasconnect, LLC may voluntarily participate, on terms acceptable to Alasconnect, LLC, in copyright alert and graduated response programs.

If you believe your work has been copied and posted, stored, or transmitted to Alasconnect, LLC’s website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a notification to the followingagent:

The notification of claimed infringement must contain the following written information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed upon;
  • A specific description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the website;
  • Your address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement by you that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf; and
  • An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.

Upon receipt of a written notification, Alasconnect, LLC will respond expeditiously to remove or disable access to material Alasconnect, LLC determines may be infringing and will follow the procedures specified in the DMCA to resolve the claim between the notifying party and the alleged infringing party who provided the applicable content.

In addition to the DMCA policies described herein, Alasconnect, LLC also has no obligation to monitor its Services but may do so and disclose information regarding the use of the Services for any reason if Alasconnect, LLC, in its sole discretion, believes that it is reasonable to do so, including, without limitation, to (i) satisfy laws, regulations, or governmental or legal requests, (ii) operate the Services properly, or (iii) protect itself and its Customers and users. Alasconnect, LLC may immediately remove material or information from Alasconnect, LLC’s servers, in whole or in part, which Alasconnect, LLC, in its sole and absolute discretion, determines to infringe another’s property rights or to violate its Acceptable Use Policy.
